From their tiny little button noses to their soft downy baby fuzz, teeny-tiny fingers and toes and creamy soft skin, new babies are a beauty to behold. The newborn time is so incredibly beautiful and yet so fleeting. My desire is to capture those moments so your memories can be cherished and savored. That's my philosophy. Your session is about you and your family. It is my firm belief that custom photography should not be defined by the limits of packages and collections. Custom photography is about you, your imagination and your desire to document your growing family.
All session fees include: A pre-session consultation (by telephone or email) Travel up to 60 miles round trip (from 53593) to your home or a location of your choosing (please contact me for rates outside this area). You can also choose to have your session in my home studio. Up to 3 hours session time (up to 4 for newborns) at your natural light location, with Anya 25-35 artistically edited images for newborn/baby/toddler/our growing family sessions and 12-15 for maternity sessions. Images presented in both an online private, password-protected gallery (hosted for two weeks), as well as a beautiful online slideshow of your images set to music (hosted for two weeks), both which you can share with family and friends. You may place orders directly from the gallery with my online shopping cart (or) request an in-home design consultation with your printed proofs. For your convenience, I accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. A $100 deposit reserves your session. The remainder of your session fee is due at your session. I book a limited number of sessions each month so I encourage you to book early.

Newborn sessions are best done within the first two weeks of life, preferably on day 5 or 6 post birth. 2-3 weeks following your session, you will be shown 25-35 artist edited images (newborn through family) and 12-15 (maternity) in an online password protected slideshow format as well as given access to an online shopping cart. The Digital Image Option (**new** for 2011) Newborn/Baby/Family Session $600 (session fee included) This includes 25-35 high resolution artist edited images on disk with printing rights. These images can be enlarged up to 40 x 60 with a high quality lab. You will have the option of ordering through my professional lab at a 20% discount. Digital session fees are due at time of session. Maternity Only Session $300 (session fee included) Same as above, however maternity session clients will be given 12-15 high resolution artist edited images on disk with printing rights. All photographic art is professionally printed utilizing the highest quality photo labs in the US. All wall and desk portraits are mounted on 2mm thick styrene for longevity. Portraits 16x20 and larger are mounted on masonite for maximum rigidity. Mounted images come ready to frame. I have now added digital image files to my product selection, see below. *please scroll down for pricing Desk Art Beautiful, artistically-edited, high quality prints begin at wallet size through 10x10. Prices range from $40-$85 per print. Wall Art Because your family is art. Exquisite, artistically-edited, high quality prints begin at 11x14 through 30x40. Prices range from $95-$800 per print. Fine Art Canvas The ultimate art piece! Images are printed on fine art canvas, gallery wrapped around a sturdy wood frame. Each piece comes ready to hang and requires no additional framing. Prices range from $250-$1,300 per piece. Digital Image Collections Prices start at $600 for full digital sessions and $425 for add on (all) digital images. I offer four different types of photography sessions for your growing family. Please click through the subjects in the side bar to find details about the type of session you may be looking for. To book a session, please contact me via the contact page or directly by phone or email. I will then send you a contract which you can return to me in the self addressed stamped envelope that will be enclosed. To reserve your session slot, half of your commission fee is due at booking and the other half is due at the time of your session.
You are your most beautiful, most radiant pregnant self between the 30th and 35th week of your pregnancy. Please feel free to contact me after your first trimester, as sessions do book out 6-8 weeks in advance. If you are beyond that point, don't worry. Please contact me directly and I will do my best to accommodate you!
Photographing newborns is my specialty. To capture the beautiful images you see in my newborn portfolio, I photograph most newborns in the first two weeks of life. I schedule newborn sessions based on mom's due date, although we'll arrange the actual date and time after your baby is born. Once your session is reserved, please call me as soon as possible following the birth of your baby. The absolute, hands-down best time for a newborn session is 5 or 6 days post birth. Mom, dad, and siblings are always included in any newborn session.
Although baby sessions can be scheduled any time during the first year of life, there are certain developmental stages in a baby's first year that are precious, fleeding, and more conducive to a variety of images. My favorites are: 3-4 months of age: When baby can hold his or her head up while on belly and is starting to smile and interact with the world around. 6-7 months of age: When baby can sit up but is not yet crawling or scooting around. It is the perfect age for a "blanket shoot". 1 year of age: Happy Birthday, Baby! Celebrate this milestone with a birthday photo session.
By 15 months of age, babies are beginning to explore the environment around them and tend to be less interested in face to face interactions with the camera. Toddler images take on a more "lifestyle" appearance and baby's interaction with the environment around them is often the focus. Once a child reaches the age of 4 to 5 images become a mixture of posed as well as active/lifestyle.
