Some more of Mr. Owen. Because I can’t resist a cute baby…Owen had 2 photo sessions!

I usually don’t do a lot of color because I specialize more in black and white images. It takes a lot of learning and effort to get black and white images in correct tones so they look like film. Which is ultimately my goal. Because I love how film looks but hate sending it to someone else to develop. And I cannot imagine having a darkroom in my house with all my kids. But today I wanted to do something different. And fun! So here he is in all his colorful glory

By mosquitos, that is. Today we went to shoot Jennifer’s head shots at Olbrich and all of us were being eaten alive by the mosquitos! It blows my mind that there are so many mosquitos this early in the summer, but with all of the flooding and standing water they are having a proverbial baby boom. Thank goodness for Jennifer’s hubby who saved the day with bug spray. And we soldiered on. . . . It was worth it!

Beautiful sunset maternity shoot from yesterday. I had so much fun hanging out with you guys!!! Thanks for putting up with me, my weird ideas, and the mosquitos! I can’t wait to do your newborn shoot. It is going to be just as fun, if not more

I had the pleasure of spending the morning with this stunning family and baby. I was getting goosebumps and jumping for joy inside (myself) while taking these photos, knowing how amazing they were going to turn out. There are PLENTY more where these came from.

And just a little aside…I have FINALLY figured out how to correctly post photos on Typepad. So you can now view them (at least in this post) in the resolution they are meant to be seen at. Now if I could just find the time to change all of them….
