And right before Christmas, too. I had not planned on photographing this baby for another couple of weeks, but apparently she had other plans for everyone involved :) She is obviously very loved by everyone in her family. Including her 20 month old brother who had a lot of fun with the “hugs” and “smooshings”.

In a few minutes (literally) the insanity is going to begin in the Wait home. One house. Two parents. All 8 children. Early adulthood mixed with teenage emotions mixed with toddler demands. Can we survive it? Can they? Stay tuned…..

It makes me sooooo very happy when I get at least one good image of a 3 year old with mama’s belly. Granted, some of the image is missing because it is an in-camera crop and there was limited room, but as long as the emotion is there, I am happy!

Speaking of children, does anyone else out there have a “Mr. Nobody” in their house? Because honestly, Mr. Nobody is a really pain in the @$$. He pees on my floor, draws on my tv, and makes people throw things randomly at people. I really wish he would find somewhere else to go. Right now he is spending and awful lot of time in the naughty spot right next to my 5 year old.

One of the things I love about pregnant and postpartum mom’s is they just glow. Inside and out.

Once again, I am way too caffeinated for words….my right eye is twitching and I am literally running a marathon inside my head. I am so busy leading up to Christmas that I may single handedly bring up Starbuck’s profits to record levels! It’s raining babies, hellelujah! :)

**note** still using photobucket to upload images…..oh Shane!!! where is my geek when I need him?????? :)

go to sleep little baby (pretty please…with sugar on top).

I spent my Saturday with this little 2 week old sweet man. And when I say my Saturday, I do mean my Saturday…LOL! He was in it for the long haul. Good thing I was too.

This image is one (of the many) of my fave’s from this session.

It has been a long time coming, but Rowan finally got a haircut! We have had a difficult time at the prospect of cutting his gorgeous little curly blonde locks. But daddy kept mentioning (ROUTINELY….the way he does…..) that Rowan needed a haircut. So one afternoon while daddy was away, I took a snip to the little curly tail Rowan had going on in the back of his head. I saved it, ready to put a little ribbon around it to go in a box, all cute and curly. I was so proud of myself! When daddy arrived home I proudly said, “Look, I cut Rowan’s hair”….thinking daddy was going to be all impressed with my bravery. Well, he wasn’t. I swear, I thought he was going to start bawling his head off right there…. “You did what? Why didn’t you wait for me”??? he asked. “Uhhhhhhh…..well, ummmm…..because I thought it was bothering you”. I replied. “But I wanted to at least BE THERE”….he says. Needless to say, I felt like the worlds biggest turd the rest of the day.

So when it was time to set up Rowan for his haircut appointment, I stayed behind. I did not go and try to steal the day, taking pictures of my little man, getting his first haircut (at a SALON, no less). I stepped aside and let daddy and big brother Zachary be the stars of the show. Good thing, too, because Rowan was an absolute bawling nut at the salon… LOL!

Here he is, before and after. And yeah, I wanted to keep it long….I love my little skater boy “look”:

and “after” with his little treat from the local bakery:
