This past summer (if September is still considered summer?) my children and I were able to do something I have been wanting to do FOREVER. Go to Mt. Rushmore! Since my husband is from South Dakota, I always relied on his opinion that it “wasn’t that much to see”. Well I am here to state that he was dead WRONG. We had the best time! It was so worth the extra driving we had to do to get to it. Even the little ones were fascinated. . .

and the part that freaks me out about her being a “budding little photographer”…the attempts at photographing mommy…fortunately the photo from the other end is nowhere to be found! Huh…wonder how that happened?
