McFarland House Cafe Mini Sessions…

I have never done mini sessions before and was a little hesitant when my wonderful PR/marketing lady Ms. Jennifer Braun suggested it. Needless to say, I had the BEST time with 10 wonderful families! To top it off, since this was also a charity promotion, this means that 10 sessions (by yours truly) have now been donated to the Male Involvement Project of the Dane County Parent Council. I can’t WAIT to meet these wonderful families as well

I had the pleasure of photographing this little sweetie two weeks ago and this is the first chance I have had to blog some images from her session! We had a lot of fun hanging out together as you can tell

…but then she saw my sleep inducing ways … ok, maybe mama’s milk had a ‘little’ to do with it …

I have been photographing this wee one since she was in her mama’s belly and I have loved every minute of it! We had the best time playing last weekend. She rocked my world on both cake eating AND tutu wearing

her cake was sooooo pretty that I couldn’t resist a few in color

Wittle tiny man from Friday. He is an early bird as he wasn’t due to hatch for 4 more weeks!

I am bone tired from a weekend of trying to heal our wounded doggie. She had surgery two weeks ago, developed a very bad complication, was on the verge of us having to put her down on Friday evening , but now seems to be a bit on the mend. Fingers crossed!!! I will try to post photos of her and the kids very soon. First the cute baby….I get to spend tomorrow with another wittle early bird too…YAY!

This one cracked me up! This is why I LOVE spending time with the wee ones….they all have their own little personalities….each one different, each one beautiful…..

A few more of baby ella and her awesome family. I have been dying to do an image of a daddy with a tattoo and his baby. This daddy has a rockin’ tattoo and loves his little baby girl to pieces I have to give a HUGE shout out to my AWESOME dad’s who have bravely bared their chests for me to photograph them with their wee loves. There is honestly nothing that melts any mama’s heart more than seeing her man loving their baby.

And her awesome daddy! Who allowed me to post this Soooo excited about that because there is so much I just LOVE about this image. Kate and her family travelled all the way from Rockford, Illinois to spend the morning with me.

She loved having her arms like this. Just chillin’ (does saying that make me sound like I graduated in 1990?)

He is such a chub a bub that he even has his own nose brow!!!! Yum-o! My second 9 lb’er this week

The funny thing was that he was IN LOVE with this position. He was awake until I put him like this…..then he rapidly drifted off to sleep!

The way he posed himself in this shot is sooooo flippin’ adorable!

At first he was not very interested in having his clothes removed for nakey baby pictures. In fact, I was actually afraid to remove his clothes starting off. For fear that our sleep time would be over…. Fortunately he got all nice and cozy and warm. And let me have my way! For some reason the babies this week have not wanted any tummy poses. Usually I will have one or two who just say NO to tummy poses. But all of them? I think it was a bit of a baby conspiracy.

I just love the look of this shot….the mix between his sweet little baby clothes and his adorable little newborn face.

I will have to admit that I was quite enthralled with his delicate baby features.
