Hello dear blog readers! I am writing to let everyone know that I have decided to take a bit of time off. I did not realize how significantly I would be affected by our move up north. Having kids at home all the time through the summer, reorganizing a new house, hubby having a new job, getting the kids settled in their various new schools, etc….. has required me to be so busy with my home life that I am unable to find the time for a professional life.

I will be compiling a waiting list for clients who would like sessions after October, 2009. Current clients of mine who have already discussed sessions with me do not need to worry :) I will still be photographing your family/wee ones as promised.

Alas I have no image to post as all of my images are on my Mac which is currently being utilized as a kiddy daycare.

Yup, you read that right. I am moving. Well, actually, I already moved. To the east side…..of Wausau, Wisconsin. To a deluxe castle-home in the north-woods. Filled with deer, wild turkey, bears, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, and various ground squirrel and mouse that our cat-hunter decides to bring home as a “present”. So what does that mean for my lovely Madison clients???? It means that once a month I schedule Madison sessions!!!! Or at a discounted price you can come up to me and have your photographs taken in my beautiful prairie and woods OR in my lovely natural light home studio. Just contact me for details.

In other news, have you been trying to get ahold of me via phone???? If so, please email me as my phone service since I have moved has “sucked” for lack of a better term. In fact, Verizon is even willing to let me out of my contract it sucks so bad. I haven’t been able to pick up messages well, make phone calls, etc…. So while I search for another service (yes, AT&T and the rockin I-phone 3G are in my sights!!!!), please contact me via the contact page on my website or by emailing anya@anyawait.com and I will get right back to you :)

To top all this contacting me stuff off, my address doesn’t exist on the postal service map OR mapquest. So UPS and FED EX have had a crazy time attempting to deliver my orders. I have chased boxes all over the country and back and am now FINALLY receiving stuff so that I can complete orders and mail them off. Double, triple and quadruple UGH!!!! I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

And because I cannot post without an image……as well as the fact that I literally have not gotten my camera out since we moved…..here is an lovely image copyright my 5 year old daughter Annika. She took this and “processed” it with photobooth on the Mac. And I am in LOVE with it.

Enjoy!

Meet itty bitty Kaitlyn who was also born early! Her mommy graduates from medical school on Friday. Congratulations!!!! What a fantabulous year :) (my spell checker says fantabulous is not a word….I respectfully disagree). Needless to say, Kaitlyn had bunnies hopping around her house….yes, actual LIVE bunnies. My kids are uber jealous of me today. So, of course, I had to put her in the little bunny foo foo hat.

a little something different….because the kids are at guitar, Rowan is sleeping, and I have time to play a bit :)

Who was photographed at the perfect time for mid-year baby photos. 6 months! When babies can sit up on their own (or minimally supported) but can’t crawl or walk away yet. I am just in love with his smoochy little happy doll face!!! And those eyes…..I just had to have at least one in color. To show off the gorgeous color of his beautiful eyes. YUMMY! ;)

I just love the connection in this photo!

I think dad was doing some kind of weird dance behind me for this one…. whatever it takes, right? LOL! ;)

At first he was not very interested in having his clothes removed for nakey baby pictures. In fact, I was actually afraid to remove his clothes starting off. For fear that our sleep time would be over…. ;) Fortunately he got all nice and cozy and warm. And let me have my way! For some reason the babies this week have not wanted any tummy poses. Usually I will have one or two who just say NO to tummy poses. But all of them? I think it was a bit of a baby conspiracy. :)

I just love the look of this shot….the mix between his sweet little baby clothes and his adorable little newborn face.

I will have to admit that I was quite enthralled with his delicate baby features.

It is going to be one crazy newborn fiesta this week as I have 3 (yes, 3!) more newbies to photograph this week and one that I think is still in mama’s belly waiting to arrive ;)

This big sister could not WAIT to be photographed with her little baby sister. To top it off, she showed me some acrobatics on my beanbag that I am hoping (cross my fingers) my Annika and Rowan never figure out. Otherwise we will probably spend a lot more time than we already do at the “Doctor Store”….as Annika refers to the Emergency Room. LOL!

and the only prescription….. is more cow bell.

So if you have tried to post comments, etc…. and it isn’t working or you don’t see your comment…or your comment suddenly came out in some odd language, I apologize. I may have to move my blog to another domain so that I can keep my lovely website while at the same time have this blog (very long story).

And if you don’t quite get my cow bell reference or want a good laugh, see link below :) One of my fave skits of all times….seriously….I have watched it probably 20 plus times and I still laugh my *&^ off.

More Cow Bell

Does anyone else remember that show? I crack up when I see Mr. T on late night infomercials. This little man’s name does start with T, though :)

Baby #1 from baby pallooza 2009 (although technically he was born in ‘08)

This adorable little man was a baby I travelled for. One of a few for 2009. He was worth every mile! I would gush on but I apparently have a crazy cat on the loose terrorizing some pre-teen girls!

And right before Christmas, too. I had not planned on photographing this baby for another couple of weeks, but apparently she had other plans for everyone involved :) She is obviously very loved by everyone in her family. Including her 20 month old brother who had a lot of fun with the “hugs” and “smooshings”.

In a few minutes (literally) the insanity is going to begin in the Wait home. One house. Two parents. All 8 children. Early adulthood mixed with teenage emotions mixed with toddler demands. Can we survive it? Can they? Stay tuned…..

Glow

One of the things I love about pregnant and postpartum mom’s is they just glow. Inside and out.

Once again, I am way too caffeinated for words….my right eye is twitching and I am literally running a marathon inside my head. I am so busy leading up to Christmas that I may single handedly bring up Starbuck’s profits to record levels! It’s raining babies, hellelujah! :)

**note** still using photobucket to upload images…..oh Shane!!! where is my geek when I need him?????? :)
