*whew* After a week of re-doing my website, having my blog re-hosted elsewhere, dealing with sick children, driving my son to Iowa….I am back! Just in time to figure out what the heck I am going to cook for Thanksgiving. yay. Although I do love the eating part, and I do love the cooking part, it is the planning and the cleaning up part that I think sucks.

And since I am a little lacking in the humor department today (sorry), I will post a couple of images from yesterday’s maternity session. Gorgeous belly, gorgeous mama, and I cannot wait to meet the gorgeous little baby inside :)

On a side note….sorry ’bout the Photobucket tag….my image uploader is having issues and the only way I seem to be able to load an image is to have it hosted off site. AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Calgon, take me away!

I was going to title this post, “Are you there Vodka? It’s me, Anya”, but then I thought, hmmmmm……that is the title of Chelsea Handler’s new book so that doesn’t sound THAT original…

Sooooo, here is the deal. My website appears to be gone. As in GONE. As in good-bye old friend. Nice to have known you. It is a long complicated story and I won’t go into the gory details. Needless to say, I have considered taking up drinking as a new hobby…and one of my clients offered up some buttered rum :)

For right now, please bear (or is it bare? Wait, no, please don’t do THAT… lol) with me while I deal with this issue. And potentially build a new site from the bottom up. I am going to be including pricing and other info on my blog asap….

If you would like to contact me for a session, please email or phone me at the following numbers:

Session Fees are as follows:

Newborn/baby/toddler: $150
Maternity/newborn combo: $225

Hello world of big images, I have mastered you!

A little sample of cute:

You have been so good to me this past year. Making it so easy for an internet moron like me to navigate the world wide web…those treacherous tubes of internets… But now it is time for me to move on. To a bigger and better blog…to one that allows for my images to be seen as they were meant to be seen…large and in charge!

For those of you who would like to follow me, you can now find me at http://www.anyawait.com/simplyblog

just don’t start clicking until after tomorrow (11/9/08)…because it is lookin’ a little silly and sparse right now….remember patience is a virtue!

My public service announcement for today:

Note to self. Do not…and I repeat, do NOT drink a glass of wine and then decide it is a fantastic time to get a run in on your new treadmill. And not just any type of run. A balls to the wall full speed ahead run…a hmmmmm….lets see how fast this baby can drive run…

I figure I probably don’t need to go into the gory details….needless to say, no photos were taken

But since I can’t post without a photo…my little Annika… ’cause sometime you feel like a nut

Just a heads up to anyone wanting to schedule a session with me this year….I only have ONE more session left for 2008. That session could be a newborn, maternity, toddler, or baby, but there is only one more…and once it is booked I will only be scheduling 2009 sessions.

*hint* hint* hint* :)

And just ’cause I can’t not have a photo in a post, here is Rowan from our vacation to Hayward…thinkin’ he is a dog.

This little girl had my number! Usually they all conk out at some point, but not little Miss C. She knew what I was up to and was determined to see if I was up for the challenge….he he he…. A baby girl after my own heart :) She did allow me to get a few shots in, however. Isn’t she a doll baby?

This will be the final post on this blog….because….I have a NEW one to be introduced very very soon. It will allow for much larger images so these babies can be seen large and in charge, just like they are supposed to be seen.

See you on the next sunny day, baby C….I am ready for the challenge :)

At 36 with 5 children, I thought I knew a lot of things. But this weekend I was highly educated on one of the most well used (and most well loved) appliances in our house. My refrigerator. On Sunday (while Erik was on Meriter call…it figures) I open up my most gorgeous LG bottom freezer french door stainless steel, does everything but cook for me refrigerator and I smell a most horrific thing. Nope, not rotten food. Because food just does not have time to rot in my house. FIRE. I smell the distinct smell of something burning. So I start searching around the refrigerator and discover that the cover of my refrigerator lights is melting! MELTING! And it is HOT. So I do the responsible thing. FREAK OUT. And call LG. Only to find out that since I can’t find my “original” sales receipt…from 2 years ago (and who can when something in their house is BURNING), that they can’t help me.

So I say to the lady, “So what exactly am I supposed to do? I am afraid that my house is going to burn down if I don’t do something IMMEDIATELY”. “Jou need to remobe da Balls” she says. “The balls”? I ask. “Jes”, she says. “da Balls”. “What the hell are the balls”? I ask (yes, at this point I am kind of losing my temper). “The refrigerator light balls” she says.

Did you know that my refrigerator has balls? And that somehow I am supposed to figure out how to remove them? Wow. I honestly had no idea. No WONDER it was so freakin’ expensive. And no, it is Wednesday and I still haven’t heard what I am supposed to do. The store is trying to locate my original sales receipt. Because they purge their files after a year, apparently. And despite the fact that my refrigerator is obviously an LG…and it was their brand spankin’ new most awesomest model of 2006, they won’t help me. So I have duct tape on certain points of the refrigerator to keep it’s balls from turning on. And I wait…..

Here it is in better days:

I LOVE sibling relationships. It is one of the things I enjoy so much about having a large family. I especially cherish the relationships of my children who are more spread apart in age. Their love for each other melts my heart. This big brother is soooooo in love with his new baby sister. Insert a little mommy and daddy love and you have a perfect family :)

Baby G had sweet little piggies….mix those with some lovely morning light and as Rachael Ray would say, “Yum-O”. I am going to let the images speak for themselves :)

Enjoy! And a special shout out to you labor and delivery nurses….I can seeeeee you checking my blog for these :) :) :)

Hello, my name is Anya, and I am the dork who changed my blog configurations rendering it unable to display all prior images. Yes, I am blonde….naturally.

Therefore, I will be spending the rest of the evening re-coding my images correctly. I apologize for the inconvenience to those trying to view their sneak peeks. Me take pretty “picher”, I am not brilliant in the IT department!

Until then, here is the adorable baby “E” that I photographed last week…her gallery is almost complete and ready to be sent to her parents….so here is an extra yummy sneak peak (again) :)
