What? And actual blog post? Am I dreaming??? No, you are not. My blog has been sadly neglected over the past couple of months as I have photographed so many of Madison, Wisconsin’s newest residents! Meet sweet baby James and his gorgeous family.
Since Mother Nature seems to be a little confused about our desire for WARM weather — not more snow, I figured I would post a newborn session from this past summer. Just so we could all remember what it was like, you know, back in the day, to go outside without a parka.
Happy families = happy babies!
and just for fun … a little something different:
Looking through past blog posts I cannot believe I forgot to post my most awesome post- Turkey Day baby! This little man had quite a slew of visitors travel from Baltimore to welcome him into the family. And I was the lucky girl who was hired to document their love. Yay!
Can you feel the love?

On September 18, 2012 at 12:34 am I became the next best thing to a mama. I became an auntie! What auntie could resist the urge to fly to California to photograph her sweet beautiful niece? Certainly not this one!
And what would a newborn post be without a little baby storyboard? I love baby parts! ♥
And since, of course, I am a photographer … I can’t manage to get actual professional photographs of myself. A tiny glimpse into my awesome trip (almost all of it spent cuddling sweet baby Adriana):
peace, much love, and sweet baby niece cuddles ♥ anya
I had a “most excellent” time photographing this gorgeous baby and family last month! Since the UW Arboretum has started charging photographers $30 per session to photograph there I have had to become a bit more creative with my on-location sessions. This lovely session took place at the beautiful Olin-Turville Park. Who knew an un-used lifeguard stand could make for such an awesome family photo 😉
peace, much love, and family hugs ♥ anya
