What? And actual blog post? Am I dreaming??? No, you are not. My blog has been sadly neglected over the past couple of months as I have photographed so many of Madison, Wisconsin’s newest residents! Meet sweet baby James and his gorgeous family.
Looking through past blog posts I cannot believe I forgot to post my most awesome post- Turkey Day baby! This little man had quite a slew of visitors travel from Baltimore to welcome him into the family. And I was the lucky girl who was hired to document their love. Yay!
Can you feel the love?

In my blogging hiatus (read procrastination), I realize I had forgotten to blog these sweet, beautiful twins photographed almost a year ago. Bad Anya! I simply adore photographing twins … ok, I will admit I just adore photographing babies, but there is something so sweet about two babies who have spent their entire lives together. Pure sweet innocent love and connection.
Sisterly love …
I know all the rage are sleeping photos, however I adore capturing open eyed babes at every session as well.
It is always an honor to be asked to photograph a family for multiple babies as their family grows. I photographed big brother Dylan (shown below cuddling his baby brother) when he was a wee 10 days old 3 1/2 years ago. Meet sweet Brendan. Aren’t his lips absolutely smooch-able? ♥

peace, much love, and baby smooches! ♥ anya
It isn’t every day that I get a newborn this fresh! I see most newborns on days 6-8 post birth as that is the best time to achieve the types of images you find in my portfolio. For a variety of reasons we scheduled Avery on day 5. She was, as all babies are, awesome!
Even her big sister posed for me!
And then we attempted the impossible… The coveted sibling image. Which tends to work, or not work. OR it captures a moment in time that may not be traditional portrait perfection, but instead captures what life is really like between two tiny siblings. Which is why I simply adore this image!
